Terms & Privacy

Celeb Konnect ("we", "us") is an India-based platform that lets fans follow creators and chat with them privately. It operates internationally. By using the app you agree to these Terms.

You must be 18+ to use Celeb Konnect. By signing up you confirm you are an adult and the information you provide is accurate.

Pricing (per creator, per month):

• India: ₹99 – ₹4,999 / month, set by each creator.
• United States: $1.99 – $59.99 / month.
• Europe: €1.99 – €54.99 / month.
• United Kingdom: £1.99 – £49.99 / month.
• All prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes at checkout.

How billing works:

• Chat access is purchased per creator. Each creator sets their own monthly price in their local currency (INR, USD, EUR, or GBP).
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Supported methods: cards (Visa / Mastercard / Amex / RuPay), UPI, netbanking, and popular wallets.
• Every new user gets their first conversation free.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly on the same date. You can cancel autopay at any time from Settings; cancelling stops future charges, and your access continues until the end of the current paid month.
• All payments are final and non-refundable. Once a payment is made — whether the first charge or an auto-renewal — no refunds, partial refunds, or pro-rated credits are issued for unused time, dissatisfaction, missed replies, changed plans, or any other reason. Your only remedy is to cancel autopay to prevent the next charge. This applies to first-time purchases and every subsequent renewal.
• The only exceptions are (a) duplicate charges caused by a technical error and (b) charges you did not authorise (proven fraud); these are refunded in full within 5–7 business days after verification. Statutory rights that cannot be waived under your local law are unaffected.
• For a duplicate-charge or unauthorised-charge claim only, email supportcelebkonnect@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.

The AI Hub is a separate section of Celeb Konnect containing AI characters. AI characters are not real people — every reply there is generated by an AI model. Chats are for entertainment only and are not advice of any kind.

Free messages, top-ups and passes:

• Each user gets 69 free messages per AI character (limits are per character, not shared).
• Optional rewarded ads add bonus messages to that character.
• Paid options: message top-ups and unlimited passes (1 day, 1 month, or 1 year). Prices are shown at checkout and processed by our international payment provider.
• AI Hub purchases are digital goods consumed immediately and are final and non-refundable, except for duplicate or unauthorised charges as described above.
• Passes auto-expire at the end of their term; they do not renew unless the checkout page says otherwise.

Creating a character & earning:

• Anyone may create an AI character. You must own or have rights to the name, photo and description you upload, and you may not impersonate a real person without their written permission.
• Revenue share: the creator keeps 69% of net revenue earned by their character; Celeb Konnect retains 31% as a platform fee.
• Earnings are shown live in your AI profile. Payouts are manual: press Ask for checkout and contact us on the WhatsApp number shown. We normally process within 7 business days after verification.
• You are responsible for your own taxes on amounts we pay you. We may withhold or delay payouts where we suspect fraud, chargebacks, or policy violations.
• We may remove any AI character that breaks our content rules, impersonates a real person, or targets minors, and withhold associated earnings.

Messages you send to AI characters are forwarded to our AI model provider to generate replies. The provider does not use your messages to train its models. See Use of AI below.

You agree NOT to: send illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual-with-minors, or threatening content; share personal contact info to move chats off-platform; impersonate creators; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or attack the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Some replies on Celeb Konnect are sent by creators themselves; others may be assisted or generated using AI in the creator's persona. We do not guarantee that any specific message was hand-written. Photos shared in chat are unlocked from the creator's curated gallery.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On deletion we remove your profile and messages within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for indirect damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 3 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

• Account: email, display name, profile photo, role (fan / creator).
• Creator profile: bio, hobbies, interests, gallery photos, pricing.
• Chat content: messages and images you send/receive, read receipts.
• Social: posts, follows, likes, comments.
• Payment metadata: subscription status, order/reference IDs and amounts returned by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV, or bank credentials — those stay with the payment processor.
• Usage & device data: IP address (used for country/currency detection), browser type, approximate location (country level), pages viewed, basic analytics events, and error logs.

• Run the app — show your feed, deliver messages, unlock chat access.
• Process payments and subscription renewals through Razorpay.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
• Show prices in your local currency and route you to the right payment gateway.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notices). We do not send marketing emails today; if we ever do, you'll be able to opt out.
• Improve the product (aggregated, non-identifying analytics).

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Celeb Konnect:

• Razorpay — card / UPI / netbanking / wallet payments worldwide. Privacy policy.
• Hosting & database: our cloud hosting and database providers, used to store your account, messages, and media.
• AI provider: when creators enable AI-assisted replies, message content is sent to our AI model provider to generate the reply. The provider does not use your messages to train their models.
• Email: a transactional email provider for receipts and account notices.
• Law enforcement: only when we receive a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct — update your profile from Settings, or email us.
• Delete — delete your account from Settings, or email us. We erase your profile and messages within 30 days (limited records may be kept where law requires, e.g. tax/payment logs).
• Portability — request your data in a portable format.
• Object / restrict — ask us to stop certain processing.
• Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
• Complain — to your local data protection authority (e.g. an EU DPA, the UK ICO, or India's Data Protection Board once operational).

To exercise any of these rights, email supportcelebkonnect@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

• All traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS / TLS.
• Data at rest is encrypted by our cloud database provider.
• Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel and protected by row-level security policies.
• Card data is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant processor (Razorpay) — we never touch raw card data ourselves.
• If we ever suffer a personal data breach that creates a risk to you, we'll notify you and the relevant regulator without undue delay, as required by GDPR / DPDP / CCPA.

No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password and don't share your account.

Celeb Konnect is operated from India and serves users worldwide. All payments — domestic and international — are processed by Razorpay in the creator's set currency (INR, USD, EUR, or GBP).

By paying, you agree your payment data is transferred to and processed by Razorpay under their privacy policy and PCI-DSS controls.

European Union / United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR). If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases are: (i) contract — to provide the service you signed up for; (ii) legitimate interest — for fraud prevention and product improvement; (iii) consent — for any optional marketing. International transfers outside the EEA/UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

India (DPDP Act 2023). For users in India we act as a Data Fiduciary. We process personal data only for the purposes described above, on the basis of your consent or as otherwise permitted by the DPDP Act. You can withdraw consent, request access, correction, erasure, or grievance redressal by emailing our grievance officer at supportcelebkonnect@gmail.com. Sensitive personal data of Indian users is stored and processed in line with applicable Indian law.

California (CCPA / CPRA). California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise your rights, email us using the address above.

Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act), Gulf states (e.g. KSA PDPL, UAE PDPL): we honour equivalent access / correction / deletion rights — contact us using the email below.

• Account and chat data: kept while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Payment records: kept for up to 8 years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
• Security logs: up to 12 months.
• Backups: rolling backups are overwritten within 35 days.

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage strictly to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and detect abuse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies from your browser at any time; this will sign you out.

Celeb Konnect is for adults only (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy as the product and applicable laws evolve. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.

For privacy questions, data requests, or account help, email supportcelebkonnect@gmail.com. This address is also our grievance officer contact for Indian users under the DPDP Act.

Some replies from creators on Celeb Konnect are generated or assisted by AI. When a creator turns on AI-assisted chat, the messages you send in that conversation are forwarded to our AI model provider so the AI can generate a reply in the creator's voice. The AI is trained on the creator's public persona (tone, hobbies, interests) — it is not the creator typing in real time.

Your messages are used only to generate the reply for that conversation. Our AI provider does not use your messages to train their models. You can stop using AI-assisted chats at any time by ending the conversation or deleting your account. If you ever want to know whether a specific reply came from AI or from the creator directly, email us at supportcelebkonnect@gmail.com.
